Last of the photos from the Rolo Tomassi archives. Not as many in this post but still, some cool live shots. I didn’t really see much point in doing 2008 as thats when we put out Hysterics and there’s tonnes of stuff online from then anyway. Enjoy.

Here’s a photo from the show in Norwich last night.

Some more stuff from the archives. The posters here are all ones I made for shows in Sheffield/Barnsley. Enjoy

Here is the first selection of pictures and flyers. This is fairly self indulgent but I’m sure it might be of interest to some people…
GOLDEN AGE, GOLDEN AGE
Just recovered photos and flyers from an old PC that basically covers the first two years of us being in a band. Some huge nostalgia trips and sheer ridiculousness. More to follow.

DAY 7
“Day 7 - A Song That Reminds You Of A Certain Event”
The event was Leeds Festival Weekend 2007. One of my favourite favourite weekends of all time and this got played a lot in between bands playing.
DAY 4, 5 AND 6
Missed a couple of days so here’s a catch-up…
“Day 4 - A Song That Make’s You Sad”
A great song but lyrically, one of the saddest I can think of…
“Day 5 - A Song That Reminds You Of Someone”
This song reminds me of my Mum. I think she had the cassette single and I can remember hearing it in the car a lot. Listening to it now, the...
DAY 3
“Day 3 - A Song That Makes You Happy”

“Day 2 - Your Least Favourite Song”

DAY 1
This blog has been neglected and I wanted to do the 30 Day Song Challenge without bugging people on Facebook so here we go…
“Day 1 - Your Favourite Song”
If Last FM is anything to go by its apparently Rinse Me Down by Bombay Bicycle Club but as much as I like that song, its not true.
I’d struggle to pick an all time favourite but if I was to go on my gut feeling right...

New Spotify Playlist...
Das Oath are one of my favourite ever bands and I always forget about them and it pisses me off. I was reminded of how much I like them earlier this week when I saw someone was selling a couple of their shirts (which I bought) online. I’ve since been listening to them a lot and completely rekindled my love for their music, as well as chiding myself for forgetting about them in the first...
Imperial Bedrooms
Brett Easton Ellis is probably my favourite author and I can’t wait to read this book.

The Talented Mr Ripley
Im a huge fan of this film and for a long time I’ve tried to get hold of the soundtrack as the music featured throughout the film is amazing. Today I remembered that Spotify existed (!) and searched for the film and found out what some of the tracks were called, who they were by etc.
This is probably my favourite track from the movie. Its called Lullaby For Cain and is by Sinead...
Dirty Projectors at the Barbican
This was certainly one of, if not, the best show I’ve been to all year.
I was disappointed to miss most of the first set (they played an old record, The Getty Address, with Alarm Will Sound, a 20 piece ensemble) but I caught maybe 15 minutes of that before they came back out and did the majority of their most recent record Bitte Orca. Truly genius.
I think it was being recorded....
